This would just be a 3D redraw essentially. Shoot there are tons of web-based games that allow user-interaction. ![]() I mean, it’s not like you’d have to have the replay deviate with new instructions or variance from the original replay. It would actually be really cool if WG had a web interface where you could drop in a replay file, and it would pull the version and then run the replay that you could interact with like a normal replay. Like, it's not several billion examples of "turn this pixel medium green here" but more like "load this ship asset with that camo asset facing that way on this map asset and play this sound asset" where every asset has to be loaded from the game files. The countdown goes to 0 but the replay doesn't start, it just sits on the loading screen of the battle.The reason you'll never see a nice handy player for replay files is because a replay is not a self contained video file, but a set of instructions that loads in game assets and thus depends on them.
